Guitars On Main was built on giving guitar lessons. We've been at it since 2009. We teach all ages, all styles, and all skill levels. Your private lesson is tailored to your needs and interest. Bob has been a great teacher for our daughter, who has been taking lessons for more than a year. He's patient and very laid-back when working with our laid-back kid -- and it's teaching her that learning to play an instrument, even when there are stumbling blocks, can be a joy, not a chore. They're working on both acoustic and electric, and he chooses music that stretches her skills a bit and takes her musical taste into consideration. Plus, he's a great musician himself -- not all musicians can teach, but he can, and does it well.
My 12 year old son took lessons with Robert at his old studio. Wonderful instructor and patient. Worked well with my son. Got my sons guitar at a great price and amp from him as well. Will continue to use him for any guitars/supplies. Unfortunately with his relocation too far for us to travel or else would still be seeing him for lessons! Wonderful guy!!
Our 7 year old daughter has loved her acoustic guitar lessons with Bob at Robert Putt Studio! We appreciated his patient guidance from first introduction. She loved the lesson time, especially when he demonstrated some of the other guitars and equipment; which he always graciously accommodated whenever she asked. He always took the time to answer her questions thoroughly, he was positive and sincere in his encouragement and critiques, and he always made time for her to share her own creativity during their lessons. I can't say enough good things about his studio, his kind instruction, and his professional talent.

Great teacher, even better guy. If you're looking for guitar lessons in Lancaster look no further, he is your man. I came to him with no prior knowledge on how to play the guitar and I've progressed much further than I ever would have expected in less than 6 months of lessons. My son and I both are students of Bob Putt.
My son has been taking lessons from Bob for about 6 months on a weekly basis and I take them every other week.
From the first lesson, I have seen a great improvement in my sons performance and his attitude towards learning to play. Bob takes the time to make sure my son understands what he is being shown and tailors the practice assignments to his level allowing him to learn and improve at a rate that does not frustrate or bore him.
